I used to be such a hardcore passionate healer in WoW. For over 6 years I did nothing else but play my holy priest and played it well.
ReplyDeleteNowadays I cringe at the idea of ever going back to healing. The whole stupid group mentallity towards healers and the blame game - so much nicer to just deep in peace! Never looked back.
Yeah, I understand. Trust me on that one. The first months of my WoW career were as a Holy Paladin healer, and the game didn't become "fun" for me until I switched to Ret.
DeleteI managed to somewhat enjoy off-healing as an Enhancement Shaman in TBC Classic, because I was not expected to shoulder a full healing load and the times I did it I knew everybody involved. Still, that's a very specific set of circumstances that's not likely to happen again.
