No Pressure. Absolutely None at All.

None indeed.

It was even larger earlier.
Last night, November 7, 2026.

Kudos to the lone Retail person there.

Where am I, you may ask?

I don't want to hear about the Wanderer's Stitched
Trousers. I know what they look like. And so does
Neve, who bitches about them every chance she gets.
Little does she know that the Dragon Queen herself
wears a version of them, but that's an expansion off.

Fel Reavers notwithstanding, I'm going to forge my own path.

  1. I'm there with the Retail person. I logged into Forever launch night and made it to level two on my paladin before I needed to go because of IRL stuff. What I found is that it felt very much like Classic and that I'm not in sync with most of the player base in wanting to play Forever with a huge crowd. If I'm not playing with friends or guildies I really do prefer much more empty zones. Now if there was a Loner ruleset that kept other players few and far between, that would be the one for me these days. ^_^

Having to stand around and wait before I can actually do anything or progress a quest just isn't a thing for me these days. When I have limited time I want to actually feel like I'm progressing, not waiting for a late bus. Maybe later I'll explore Forever, but there's a good chance I won't. I never did all the new stuff in Season of Discovery, so not doing any of the new stuff in Forever wouldn't bother me. Again, that's ok, not everything in Wow or the various Wow versions needs to be for me.

I've got the stuff that calls to me, the things I want to do and think about doing. We can all have our fun in various ways. :)

    1. Until my questing buddy switched over for her Black Temple raid, I was the lone Anniversary person on my friends list. The first day or two of WoWF's launch I logged in without becoming visible on Battle.Net* because I didn't want constant whispers of "Hey, are you coming over?", but by Friday I was logging in to BNet just because.

I actually have a post in development about why I prefer empty zones while questing, despite my enjoyment of group content. However, I've got an antenna to work on today, so that's taking priority. (It also keeps me from watching the Bengals game in Madrid, because I would not only waste away a clear Sunday but I tend to jinx them when I watch.)

*When I login to Horde toons I typically don't login to BNet, because 95% of my friends list are Alliance players. When I last regularly used to login to BNet all the time like that it was during 2021 TBC Classic, and I used to regularly get whispers to come over to Hellfire Peninsula to help flip one of the PvP markers over to Horde so they could then flip it back to Alliance. Once in a while is fine, but being a Horde player in the service of the Alliance wasn't what I had in mind when I would login to those toons.

  2. I love that the clipping makes that into F* Reaver and who hasn't called it that in the past?

    1. Oh, you have NO idea. I was on that hill, looking over my quest log, when the ground shook. I looked around and couldn't see the reaver, so I was about to bug out and hearth to Thrallmar when that thing came stomping from the other side of the hill, hidden by the hill itself.

I flipped it the bird, as that whole sequence was like something out of The Ballad of the Fel Reaver by Gorak's Guide to Azeroth on YouTube.
