This morning I woke to receive a "re-evaluation" notice from Blogger, which said they didn't find any malware, so they restored the posts.
Hell, I could have told them that.
What I don't get is if they get a report about malware they don't have a quick scan of the offending pages. That'd shake out any malware present and not force them into a manual re-evalutation.
But hey, I only work in IT Security.
I think it was a bigger issue with Blogger. I got the "this site is blocked as unsafe" message for every single Blogspot blog I was trying to visit the other night (including all three of mine). I just clicked the link to report it as a false positive and the next day things were fine again...
ReplyDeleteYeah, the more I think about it the more I believe it was a "malicious" attack to keep Blogger busy.
